Frequently Asked Questions
Many people have questions they would like to have answered before they visit a church for the first time. Here is our attempt to guess what is on your mind and answer some of your questions. If we have missed something, please let us know. You're probably not the only one with that question and if you ask us, it will help us serve you and our future guest.
What should I wear?
You will see people in everything from suits and dresses to business casual to blue jeans. What's on the outside is not as important as what's on the inside so dress modest but come as you are. We want you to feel comfortable and at home. Jesus will receive you just as you are and we will too!
What can I expect at worship services?
Our worship services are planned around praise and worship through music, prayer, and life-changing Bible study. The worship music includes a blended selection that ranges from traditional songs and hymns from our past to modern contemporary praise songs. Our morning service includes a children's sermon along with special music by our choir and by individuals. Our pastor, Bro. Kerry Shopher, brings messages that are inspiring, relevant and will impact your everyday life. A time of response always follows the message. At the conclusion of the service we continue to worship through our tithes and offerings. As our guest we do not expect you to take part in the offering. During our worship services you can expect to see friendly faces, feel welcomed, and most importantly, experience the presence of God! A list of service times are provided on our Home Page.
Where should I park my car?
Guest parking is located near the main entrance at the front of the church. Just look for the parking spaces marked with the signs that read, "Guest Parking. We also have ADA approved parking that is clearly marked and they are located near the ADA entrance on the East side of the church.
What Bible study opportunities do you offer?
Sunday School classes meet at 9:45 a.m. on Sunday morning. Classes are provided for all age groups. This is the perfect time and place to build friendships and grow closer to God through Bible study and sharing common life experiences.
Where do my children go during worship service?
While mom and dad are in the 10:45 am worship service, children (4 yrs. old through 2nd grade) are given the opportunity to experience a worship service that is relevant to them just a short distance from where the parents are worshipping. We do provide a nursery for children under the age of four.
Do you offer a nursery?
Our nursery is clean, safe, and staffed with qualified volunteers that love infants and preschoolers. If you enter the worship center through the main entrance, you will take the hallway to the left and the nursery will be the last door on the left. It is just a short distance from the worship center.
